Travel to Brazil

It’s hard not to fall in love with Brazil. First you have the culture. It’s vibrant, musical, and full of life. You will find yourself literally dancing in the streets when you find yourself enjoying what this country and its people have to offer, especially if you plan a trip during Carnaval, the country’s most famous celebration.

Then you have the beaches. Whether you prefer the vastness, crowds, and amenities that Copacabana offers or you want the quiet solitude of Baia do Sancho, you’ll find golden sands and sunshine waiting for you. Many of the beaches offer year-round access as well.

There’s also the wildlife of Brazil to consider. Take the opportunity to explore some of the Amazon, the world’s largest rainforest environment. Get to meet giant anteaters, sloths, and capybaras. Tour and travel packages include river cruises, jungle expeditions, and much more. The diverse ecosystems of Brazil will help you spot iconic toucans, swim with pink dolphins, or enjoy a simple horseback ride along a rocky cliff.

Sunsets in Brazil seem to go on for forever. Sunrises are equally spectacular, assuming you can get up to see them after enjoying the vibrant nightlife. It’s a nation where urban cultures meet the sea thanks to boundless beaches, roaring waterfalls, and epic adventures that will leave you wanting more.

No matter what your budget may be, Brazil offers an adventurous opportunity that will let you enjoy a one-of-a-kind experience. Then you can sit back on your favorite stretch of beach, grab a caipirinha, and let the day come to its perfect end.

Best of Brasil

Brasil is often known for its stunning beaches. You can access the Amazon rainforest with a trip to this country. There are famous landmarks to see as well, such as the Christ the Redeemer statue which overlooks Rio de Janeiro.

The fact is that the best of Brasil encompasses a fusion of different cultures, landscapes, and wonders which bring the entire world together.

#1. Fernando de Noronha

To reach this stunning landscape, you’ll need to take a flight from Recife. Because its 350km away from the mainland, you’ll find unspoiled natural wonders await you. Dolphins swim in the protected waters. Turtles make their way to the beaches. You can relax in the purity of natural quiet. The sanctuary here limits the number of visitors allowed each year, so you’ll want to plan ahead to visit this outstanding destination.

#2. Foz de Igaucu

These stunning waterfalls straggle the border of Brasil, Paraguay, and Argentina. Falling more than 80m from the Devil’s Throat, you can hear the falls from several kilometers away. Mist clouds can be so thick that you can’t see the river on some days. There’s also a fantastic bird park and several natural reserves in the area to tour to round out your adventure.

#3. Chapada Diamantina

This national park, located in Bahia, offers rugged monoliths which form a stunning view. Hiking trails here are challenging, though the rewards are outstanding. You’ll find deep underground caves to explore here as well. Pools are so clear at this site that you can see clear to the bottom.

#4. Lencois Maranhenses National Park

These sand dunes look like freshly-folded bedsheets, which is how the park got its name. Any time of year is striking at this unique destination, though do try to visit after the rainy season. Pools of water build up within the valleys of each dune, offering small lakes of stunning fresh water. When combined with big, blue skies, the experience is quite memorable.

#5. The Amazon

The Amazon rainforest will continue to be a top attraction for Brasil, even with threats like mining and deforestation threatening its existence. The ecosystem of the forest is dense and complex, truly a one-of-a-kind destination. From river dolphins to isolated tribes, an entire holiday can be spent exploring this part of the country.

#6. Sao Paulo

Home to over 13 million people, this city was given the nickname of the “Concrete Jungle.” It may be the financial capital of the country, yet there is much more to find here than tall buildings or numbers to analyze. Some of the best art galleries in Brasil are found here, as are some of the best restaurants. The nightlife is thriving here as well, because if you work hard, it is important to play hard too. One could say, in fact, that Sao Paulo is one of those cities which never really sleeps.

The best of Brasil offers you a chance to explore different biomes. You can lose yourself in the local cultures. You can find a quiet beach or make new friends down at the Copacabana. The adventures are waiting, and it is up to you to decide.
