There are three Genoese towers to find when you take a trip out to Corsica. Although the towers themselves would likely be considered unimpressive by the average visitor, these historical monuments of France are stationed in such a way that they could reinforce the defensive perimeter of the island when it was loyal to Genoa. For a more traditional good time, Ajaccio also has two marinas that will let you relax out by the water or go for a short hike if you prefer.
