Numerous destinations in Ghana make for a customized holiday experience. Make your way to Kakum National Park and you’ll get to enjoy a stunning rainforest canopy walk. Follow that up with a visit to the local eco village where you can celebrate a holiday in the traditional manner of the ethnic group.

Mole National Park is another adventurous option to choose. This savanna has lions and elephants, along with buffalo and antelope. Walking and driving safaris are available and you can even schedule a night of camping out on the savannah if you wish.

Be sure to visit the village of Nzulezo while visiting Ghana. This historic village is located in the Amansuri wetlands and is built entirely on stilts and support piers. It can only be accessed via dugout canoe from the town of Beyin.
